DC Personal Trainer Hosts Protein Shake Social
We have moved into our brand new gym and to get some excitement going we decided to host a protein shake social for our members after a group metabolic class last week.

Group butt kicks!
Our metabolic classes are 45 minute of fun butt kicking. We rotate through 4 or 5 stations for a specific amount of time, take a short rest, and keep on going. This form of exercise really gets your heart rate up and burns fat for at least 24 hrs AFTER you are done working out! Yes, that right, after you are done working out. Smart resistance training does the same thing.
I was really impressed at how hard everyone worked and was excited to make shakes for everyone. We made four different flavors all based on Source Naturals – True Whey, oz, 16 powder

Fall Coffee Fix From Georgetown’s Weight Loss Expert
It’s fall and the time of year when your favorite coffee house is serving up warm feelings in a cup. Yes, I mean the ever tasty Pumpkin Spice Latte, Eggnog Latte, or even a Gingerbread Latte. You are probably aware of all the sugar and extra calories these drinks can carry and may even try to avoid them.

Everything you need for a delicious morning!
It’s called The Body You Want Pumpkin Spice Coffee (pretty original name – right?!)
1 individial serving of regular instant coffee ( I like Nescafe) prepared as instructed
couple drops of EZSweets
Couple dashes (more to taste) of Pumpkin Pie Spice
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 tables spoons of grass-fed cream
Remember, you can try this with any spice combo you enjoy.
