My team and I are hosting an open house on Thursday and you are invited! Come check out what we have to offer over some drinks and snacks. <p>Our metabolic classes are 45 minute of fun butt kicking. We rotate through 4 or 5 stations for a specific amount of time, take a short rest, and keep on going. This form of exercise really gets your heart rate up and burns fat for at least 24 hrs AFTER you are done working out! Yes, that right, after you are done working out. Smart resistance training does the same thing.</p>
<p>I was really impressed at how hard everyone worked and was excited to make shakes for everyone. <p><strong>Ingredients</strong></p>
<p>2 cups cream<br />
¼ cup water<br />
1tsp vanilla extract<br />
1 tsp mint extract<br />
pinch of salt<br />
green food coloring (optional, only if you want it to be green, otherwise it will be yellow because of the egg yolks)<br />
4 egg yolks<br />
½ cup of no cal sweetener<br />
½ cup of chopped sugar-free chocolate (I like dark)</p>
<p><strong>Directions</strong></p>
<p>1. In a microwave safe bowl, heat cream and water until steaming (2min).<br />
2. While cream is heating, mix everything but the chocolate together well. Add to hot cream and return to microwave until steaming, but NOT boiling (1min).<br />
3. Follow instructions on your ice cream maker. Be sure to add chocolate half way through the process.</p>
<p>Washington, DC weight loss expert Josef Brandenburg (that&#8217;s me!) shows you how to make low-carb mint chocolate ice cream with NO sugar alcohols. WAY better than store bought low-carb ice cream. Mint happens to by my favorite but this is a great base for other flavors too.</p>

However, sometimes my jeans are a bit too tight by the end of the season. As a <a href="http://thebodyyouwant.com" target="_blank">Washington DC personal trainer</a> and Redskins fan I thought I would share some helpful tips and recipes to keep you looking great in your jeans all season.</p>

<li>Eat a healthy meal before heading out to the game or bar &#8211; this will keep you from munching.</li>
<li>Make game day your ONE cheat day of the week.</li>

<p><strong>GRILLED HAMBURGERS</strong></p>
<p>1. If possible cook with local wood on an outdoor grill</p>
<p>2.Buy high-quality, low-fat grass-fed ground beef</p>
<p>3. Buy high-quality Italian hot pork sausage &#8211; about a pound</p>
<p>3. Put both meats into same bowl.</p>
<p>4. Salt and pepper to taste.</p>
<p>5. Use your bare hands to mix it up and form patties.</p>
<p>6. Grill until done!</p>
